Working Principle of Automotive Terminal PinsAutomotive terminal pins mainly rely on precise metal contact and elastic fitting conduction. Combined with locking structure and protective design, automotive terminal pins realize stable power supply and signal transmission for vehicle circuits.
Made of high-conductivity copper alloy material, male pins and female terminals fit precisely with tight metal contact surfaces. In this way, automotive terminal pins ensure smooth transmission of vehicle current and various electronic signals.
The female terminal is built with an elastic shrapnel structure. When the male pin is inserted, the shrapnel tightly wraps the pin by its own elasticity. Even under bumpy driving and long-term vibration, it can maintain firm contact without poor connection, power failure or signal interruption.
The tail of the terminal is designed with special crimping clamping openings. By crimping process, it firmly clamps the wire core and outer insulation sheath, integrating the wire and metal terminal firmly. It is tensile and not easy to fall off, ensuring long-term stable circuit conduction.
After the terminal is installed into the plastic connector housing, it locks inside the shell through its own barbs and clamping positions. This locking structure prevents the terminal from backing out or loosening during driving, fundamentally avoiding circuit open faults.
Matched with connector sealing rubber rings, waterproof plugs and insulating plastic shells, it effectively isolates moisture, dust and sediment after connection. It prevents terminal oxidation, rusting and circuit short circuit or leakage, adapting to harsh working environments such as engine compartments and chassis.
With surface anti-corrosion treatment like tin plating and gold plating, the product features high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance and corrosion resistance.
